The Advanced Diver course is designed for Open Water divers to build onto their initial training foundation. With increases in task management, risk awareness, and mental organization, students will become safe and confident divers.

Students can choose to complete Advanced in two different ways:
Advanced Adventurer/Advanced Diver
Students will complete tasks during five dives over two days. We offer this certification through NAUI, SDI, and PADI. This course is suggested for any diver who wants to start exploring beyond open water. A brief overview of advanced topics and techniques is covered during the course.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Students will complete tasks during twelve dives over two to four days. We offer this certification through NAUI, SDI, and IANTD. This option is recommended over the first. This is due to the depth of detail given to each advanced topic instead of a short summary. The more in-depth a student understands these topics, the higher quality skills they acquire. Over the duration of this course students will be placed in “real-world” situations. Students will be taught the skills and understanding needed to find solutions for these scenarios with emphasis on self-sufficiency.
